The City of Little Rock Public Works Department, Civil Engineering Division, is seeking a qualified General Contractor to provide comprehensive heavy construction services for the East 39TH ST. drainage project.

This project consists of the renovation of an existing 8,300 sf wood-framed building. This will house the new Crisis Center for Desoto County. The construction type will remain Type VB. New interior framing to be metal stud. The building will have an automatic sprinkler system. This will be classified as a mixed-use occupancy R-4 & B. This project also includes the addition of a new 2,200 SF courtroom building which will serve the Crisis Center. The construction will be metal framed with metal trusses. The exterior has concrete block & metal panel cladding. The occupancy type is A-3. The courtroom is not sprinklered. The work shall include all civil, landscape, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm and electrical work, ETC.

The Project consists of the re-roof of the existing building in its entirety, as well as major renovations to the facility to remediate storm damage.

The Project consists of the new addition of classroom wings and associated demolition and site improvements to the Marked Tree Elementary School Facility.

The project is to renovate the former Automotive Technology and Welding Technology training areas.

Installation of the following owner procured equipment, Mechanical Bar Screens (2), Grit Removal Equipment (2), Oxidation Aerators (2), UV Disinfection (1), and Generator and ATS. In addition to, the installation of a new Bar Screen Channels, Grit Removal Channels, Junction Box, Clarifier Equipment installation, new Blowers and Course bubble diffusers, new RAS/WAS/TWAS pumps, a new pump building, a new UV Disinfection channel, land application system.
